B.O.S.S. Pimps Nation

B.O.S.S. Pimps Nation is a Folks Mob in jail but on the streets are Renegade, and is made up of mostly blacks.

Their colors are blue, black, and red.

Their symbols include Playboy Bunny, Pitchfork, Dollar sign ($).

The Boss Pimps, also spelled B.O.S.S. Pimps, originated in the South Chicago neighborhood in the mid-to-late 1980's. The gang were originally Black Gangster Disciple sets which attached a "clique title" to its moniker. The letters B.O.S. standing for Brothers Of the Struggle, had already been in use as a Black Gangster Disciple alias in the correctional facilities. After the Gangster Disciples began to become more organized, gang heirarchy asserted its position over the B.O.S. Pimp BGD's. This angered the leaders of the B.O.S Pimps, as they were forced to abide by Black Gangster Disciples laws and concepts. Nevertheless, the gang obliged, at least for a short while. However, by the early 1990's, tensions began to arise between members of the B.O.S. Pimps and other Gangster Disciples strongholds, particularly, the Jeffery Manor Gangster Disciples, who operated in the Jeffery Manor sub-community. The B.O.S Pimps then added an additional "S" (B.O.S.S.) to their moniker, signalling a split with the overall Gangster Disciple Nation. The gang has been engaged in off-and-on again wars with the Jeffery Manor Gangster Disciples in the last decade. As such, they view themselves as a separate entity from that of the Gangster Disciples nation. In fact, the gang openly professes a "everybody killer" concept, meaning they have no allies on the streets. However, some members of the Boss Pimps opt to "flip" Gangster Disciples upon entering correctional facilities while others align themselves with Black Disciples, New Breeds, and Black Souls. The gangs main base of operation is along the East 93rd Street corridor between South Jeffery Avenue and South Anthony Avenue. The Boss Pimps also have sets in the Burnside and Southshore neighborhoods. Within recent years, the gang has inflicted, as well as suffered, lives lost against rivals, such as the Jeffery Manor GD's, Apache Stones, Black P. Stones, 4 Corner Hustlers, and Mickey Cobras street gangs.
