Hoodlums

Hoodlums is a Folks Mob made up of mostly latinos.

Their color is black.

Their symbols include a sickle and reaper.

They are known to use the phrase "Insane 2 The Brain Hoodlum 'Till I'm Gone" to show their affliliation

The Hoodlums started off as a party crew in the late 80s or early 90s feuding with other small crews like the Thrashers and Ice Boys. Most of the Ice Boys had turned Latin Dragons and the Thrashers disassembled and the remaining guys became Hoodlums. The Hoodlums set up shop on 88th and escanaba after the Latin Kings from 89th ran out the Latin Counts who were on that block before the Hoodlums. Alot of the leadership and older members of the Hoodlums, at the time, were(are) related to alot of older members of the Latin Kings of 89th. Thus making them close friends.

In the mid 90s the Hoodlums went to war with the Spanish Vicelords. At the same time the Latin Kings went to war with the Latin Dragons. At some point a couple of Hoodlums turned Dragon and this made the Kings from 89th a bit suspicious of them. Soon the Hoodlums began sneaking in their former members, who became Dragons, onto that block making it unsafe for the Kings who were at war.

The Kings from 89th began to put pressure on the Hoodlums to pick a side, if not, don't let the Dragons on 88th. It finally reached its boiling point when a member of the Hoodlums was caught crossing out Kings' names on a wall and and claimimg 88th was theirs. That Hoodlum was caught doing it and soon was beat up by a King. It was a touchy thing since that Hoodlum was related to 2 Kings. But the Hoodlums made the choice of throwing down the crown after this incident. Not too long after a Hoodlum named Lino was hit over the head with a bat. He was critically injured, but survived.

In January of 2000, there was a scuffle on 88th and escanaba where guns were drawn leaving Hoodlum Danny and King Pride dead. This is where the war actually began. This caused more Hoodlums to turn Dragon and then the Hoodlums became folks. The Hoodlums were eventually forced off of 88th by the Kings when the main house they hung out on was knocked down. The Hoodlums remain strong and growing.
