The group was originally identified as the Cullerton Boys and represented the colors of Grey & White, which today still exist as their traditonal colors. The Cullerton Deuces made their presence known in the community through small acts of vandalism and theft. As their operations in the neighborhood increased members of the group began to establish relationships with local area street gangs such as the Latin Kings, Latin Counts, Villalobos, and the Stone Kents. By the late 1970's the Cullerton Deuces had grown in favor of their allies and choose to join the People alliance. In 1980 the Cullerton Deuces joined the People alliance and further solidified their presence in the vicinity of 19th-to-Cermak, Rockwell-to-California. Through-out the 1980's the Cullerton Deuces grew at a moderate pace considering they were considered a neighborhood gang with no desire to expand their presence into other locales of the city. During this time the Cullerton Deuces encoutered and engaged in wars with the Ambrose, Satan Disciples, Two-Six, Black Disciples, Racine Boys, and Ridgeway Lords street gangs. In the early 1990's the Cullerton Deuces and Latin Kings started to feud after a member of the Cullerton Deuces was shot and killed by members Latin Kings. In retaliation a member of the Latin Kings suspected responsible for the shooting was beaten to death with baseball bats by the Deuces. These events sparked an all out war between the Cullerton Deuces and Latin Kings street gangs. Many members of the Cullerton Deuces were incarcerated due to the criminal activities they engaged in to combat their rivals on the streets. While incarcerated the Cullerton Deuces found themselves in a similar scenario of a street gang also known as the Deuces. The Insane Deuces had a much longer history on the streets and were well established on the Northside of Chicago. However, the Insane Deuces were apart of the Folks alliance, the Cullerton Deuces remained under the People alliance well into the early 1990's. In 1996 the Cullerton Deuces opted to join the Folks alliance under the Insane Deuces, and broke all ties to the People alliance due to their consistent feuds with the Latin Kings. To follow suit with the Insane Deuces, the Cullerton Deuces joined the Insane Familia, a group of Latino Folks gangs aside the umbrella of the Spanish Cobras on the streets and in the prisons. Being the only Southside gang with ties to the Insane Family, the Insane Cullerton Deuces soon adopted the colors of Green & Black as well to symbolize their membership on the streets. The Cullerton Deuces are known to also have satellite chapters in Texas and California. The Insane Cullerton Deuces principle enemies are the Latin Kings, Gangster Two-Six, Satan Disciples and Two-Two Boys. |
