Insane Dragons Nation is a Folks Mob made up of mostly latinos.

The Dragons originated on Chicago's Westside in the early 1960's. The gang is said to been founded by Caveman in 1964, in the vicinity of Sacramento & Walton in the East Village community. The Dragons soon gained a well rounded membership, which lead them to expand operations toward California Avenue. During this time the Dragons encountered other street gangs such as the Imperial Gangsters, Chi-West, C-Notes, and Maniac Latin Disciples. Throughout the 1970's the Dragons fought often with the C-Notes from Smith Park, due to the fact at the time the C-Notes were a White supremicist group which were against Latino gangs. However, in the early 1980's the organization joined the Folks alliance, and proceeded a tight-knit relationship with the Spanish Cobras street gang. Soon the Dragons joined the Insane Familia, a group of allied Latino Folks gangs aside the umbrella of the Spanish Cobras in the prisons and on the streets. These events would break way and give stealth to Insane Dragons credibility on the streets. At this time, the Insane Dragons would find engagement in territory wars with various gangs in the East Village and Humboldt Park neighborhoods. This ultimately lead to the Insane Dragons expansion into the Humboldt Park community. The Insane Dragons, after joining the Insane Familia formed a relationship with their previous opposition, the C-Notes. The C-Notes joined the Folks alliance as well, in which the organization ceased to have any White supremacy in thier concepts. Over time, it's rumored the Insane Dragons enticed the C-Notes to join the Insane Familia. The Insane Dragons fought a vicious war with the Augusta & Kedzie Latin Kings, along with consistent battles against the Spanish Lords street gangs and other several other gangs allied to the People alliance. In the 1990's, the Insane Dragons fought against a group intensely known as the Insane Campbell Boys. The Insane Dragons have remained solidified in their primary sector of the East Village community for over four decades. The group is relatively small today, however, at times have excercised a presence in other various Northwest side neighborhoods. The Insane Dragons principle rivals are the Latin Kings, Campbell Boys, Satan Disciples, Harrison Gents, and Latin Stylers street gangs, including various sets of the Maniac Latin Disciples.
