Insane Majestics

Insane Majestics is a Folks Mob made up of mostly whites and latinos.

Their colors are black, gray, and white.

Their symbols include a 6 staff and 6 point star.

They are known to use the phrase "Fuck The Rest" to show their affiliation.

In the 1970's a streetgang of mostly Italians called Taylor Street Majestics had sprung up. Later a north side set also used the name Majestic Gangsters. But they were the same gang. By the end of the 70's membership had died down and a small group of young members became caught up in the dance scene of the early and mid 80s. While most other gangs were becoming either Folks or People the Majestics took another road. Party crews had become a big thing in the 80's and Majestics became MPCs. Majestic Party Crew. Under one member whose name was Sergio "Gramps" they grew to over 300 members. One of the biggest party crews in chicago. Obviously the larger gangs did not take very kindly to this. So around 1988-90 set after set caved in under the pressure from the Kings, Two Six, and Ds to turn out and drop out of the party crew. One set refused. That was the Cicero Majestics. They shared 31st and Laramie with the 22 boys. At the time the 22s did not feel threatened by the Majestics because they were smaller and were not Folks yet. As time went by it became clear that Majestics would have to become Folks or People. There was no question which way they would go.

They had always been Folks at heart. At least in Cicero. By 1992 the Majestics had joined the SD family and joined folk alliance in 1992. The 22 boys did not like that at all. They figured it was a given that they would ride under them. That, in addition to the fact that the Majestics had grown strong and outnumbered the 22s on 31st and wanted half of the hood for themselves started a very stupid war between the two. Alot of people went to prison and were hurt because of this war. And worst of all neither of them realized a real threat growing right in their back yard. Almost over night a set of MLDs sprung up. They grew quick. They then sat back untill the 22s and Majestics weakened each other enough. When they saw what was happening the Majestics and 22 boys called a peace and united against the MLD's but by then it was two late. The Majestics fought hard and always seemed to be more down but there were just to many of the Maniacs. In the end the Maniacs controlled over half of the Majestics old hood. So now west of Laramie on 31st there is still a small hardcore crew of newbloods along with a few older Majestics holding up what is left of the hood. Lucky for the majestics they also started sets in Lyons, Waukegan, Zion, & Brookfield in the early 90's so there is always help from them if need be. Most of the older Majestics have not retired. Instead they have moved into legitimate business and are trying to get the ones still on the street to follow they're lead. The future to them lies in legitimate orginizations. Not the streets any more. But, any one of them will not hesitate to do what it takes to help each other if they see a brother in need. So all the other mobs should take note. They may be changing their outlook on things but they are not going any where.
