Maniac Campbell Boys Nation

Maniac Campbell Boys Nation is a Folks Mob made up of mostly latinos & some black.

Their colors are Red & Blue

Their symbols include a Shield w/Horns, Monks, Pitchforks

The Campbell Boys started out as a group of youths that hung out with the Maniac Latin Disciples and the YLO Disciples. These youths were not members of either one of these gangs but simply hung around them. In about 1984 or 1985, these youths decided to start their own gang along Campbell Street around Campbell and Lemoyne. They named their gang after the street they came from calling themselves the Campbell Boys. The Campbell Boys were mainly just a neutron crew that were not under Folks or Peoples. In 1989, the Campbell Boys were approached by Maniac Latin Disciples and told that if they wanted to continue to hold down turf in their neighborhood and profit from it, they had to have a sponsor. This prompted the Campbell Boys to draw an alliance with the MLDs and join the Folk nation in 1989. They then became known as the Maniac Campbell Boys and were apart of the Folk nation and the Maniac Family. They adopted some MLD symbols such as the monks, pitchforks, devil horns, and maintained their own symbol which is a shield; the horns became attached to the top of the shield. The MCBs then began taking more turf along Campbell Street As they got bigger, the Spanish Cobras noticed this and told a group of MCBs to either become ISC or join the Insane Family. Their was a struggle for control going on around California AVE between MLDs and Cobras and the MCBs were in the zone nearby. The ISCs were mainly confronting the MCBs on the corner of Campbell and Wabansia about becoming a part of the Cobra nations. The MCBs from Campbell and Wabansia agreed to join the Insane Family and became known as Insane Campbell Boys. Within a short amount of time the ICBs spread their influence to Augusta and Campbell and lost their original ICB hood of Campbell and Wabansia. The ICBs soon faded into extinction sometime after the year 2000 while the MCBs continue to exercise a presence around Campbell Street.
