Milwaukee Kings Nation Milwaukee Kings Nation is a Folks Mob made up of mostly latinos. Their colors are Orange & Black Their symbols include a MK Crown The Milwaukee Kings originated in the West Town community on Chicago's Northwest side originally known as the Young Horsemen. It is said that the Young Horsemen established themselves as an organization on Halloween Day in the year 1959. This being, the traditional colors of Orange & Black were adopted to symbolize the gangs origination. In the early 1960's, the Young Horsemen's primary locale was in the vicinity of Milwaukee Ave. & Ogden Ave. At some point in time between the mid 1960's and mid 1970's, the Young Horsemen changed their identity and transformed into the Milwaukee Kings street. The moniker "Milwaukee" Kings was obviously derived from the street in which the gang was most commonly known to operate. In the mid-to-late 1970's, the Milwaukee Kings spread their influence into the nearby East Village community. The Milwaukee Kings solidified their presence in the vicinity of Huron & Noble, which would serve as the gangs first headquarters and become the organizations stronghold. Shortly after establishing a presence in the East Village community, the Milwaukee Kings established a relationship with the Maniac Latin Disciples street gang. The Milwaukee Kings also established ties to the Latin Jivers, and Maniac Campbell Boys street gang's. The Milwaukee Kings were asked by "Hitler" and "Pesco", top-ranking members of the MLD's, to help aid and assist the Maniac Latin Disciples in the East Village community to combat against the Latin Kings street gang. In following events, the Milwaukee Kings joined the Folks alliance in the late 1970's or early 1980's and adopted the prefix "Maniac" to their gang title to comply with the "Maniac Family", a group of allied Latino Folks gang's aside the umbrella of the Maniac Latin Disciples in the prisons and on the streets. The Milwaukee Kings recruited moderately in the East Village community and engaged in turf wars against various rivals throughout the 1980's and 1990's, such as the Latin Kings, Satan Disciples, Ashland Vikings, and Harrison Gents street gang's. Although the Milwaukee Kings were well established, due key members incarcerations, intense police pressure, and a mounting offensive by rival gangs, in 1999 the Milwaukee Kings were forced to relocate their organizations main base of operations. Prior to relocating, members of the Milwaukee Kings were able to establish a presence in the Montclare and Logan Square communities on Chicago's Northwest side. The operations in the Logan Square were short lived after a high-ranking member was killed. The Milwakee Kings main base of operations became and remains in the Montclare community in the vicinity of Riis Park. In 1993, the Milwaukee Kings developed a branch in the Chicagoland suburb of Cicero. The Milwaukee Kings presence in Cicero was also short lived but was well known. The Milwaukee Kings were briefly allied with the Gangster Two-Six street gang in the vicinity of the Parkholme Homes in Cicero. In and outside the Montlcare community the Milwakee Kings fought against the likes of the Latin Kings, Imperial Gangsters, Spanish Cobras, Orchestra Albany, Four Corner Hustlers, and the Latin Brothers street gang's while the Cicero Milwaukee Kings battled against the Noble Knights, 12th Street Players, Two-Two Boys, Gangster Disciples, and the Latin Angels street gang's. Today, the Cicero Milwaukee Kings no longer claim area in Cicero as an active street gang, however, some members claim to exercise a discreet operation in the Chicagoland suburb. The Milwaukee Kings have always retained ties with the Latin Jivers and Maniac Campbell Boys street gang's, which on the streets are were referred to as "1st-Cousins", however, some may specualte that their relationship has drifted over years. On Valentine's Day in 2004, a high-ranking member of the Milwaukee Kings known as "Baby" was killed by members of the Maniac Latin Disciples. Due to this the Milwaukee Kings and various sections of the Maniac Latin Disciples street gang are at odds and a consistent gang war has since escalated. The Milwaukee Kings operate and exercise a known presence in the Montclare community and are known to engage in violence to protect their drug turf. The Milwaukee Kings principle rivals have consisted of the Latin Kings, Satan Disciples, Harrison Gents, Imperial Gangsters, Spanish Cobras, Orchestra Albany, Maniac Latin Disciples, YLO Disciples, Latin Lovers, Spanish Lords, Ashland Vikings, Gangster Disciples, Two-Two Boys, Gangster Two-Six, Latin Angels, Noble Knights, 12th Street Players street gang's. |
